# Adding and Uploading Music

To change, or upload music for your slideshow, click the **“Music & Settings”** button in the top purple edit bar inside the video editor.

This will open the music control window.
Here you can see what music is currently selected, and how long each slide will play for on screen.
You can change or add additional music from our royalty-free music library, which is broken down into categories such as Piano or Classical.

To listen to a preview of the track, click the play button and then the tick button to select it.
To remove a track click the minus button.

You can upload your own music tracks via the **“Upload a Song”** button. 
Clicking this will bring up the music uploader, which works the same way as the photo uploader.
The best format for upload music is MP3.

Every state and country has different rules about playing popular music tracks at funerals and public services. If you are planning on playing your video publicly we suggest confirming what music tracks you are able to use with the people who are organising the event. 

For legal reasons, Eulogize is unable to connect directly with Spotify, Youtube, Apple Music or other music streaming services.
