# Creating a Printable Tribute: Getting Started Guide

It’s easy to create a beautiful set of printed tributes for your loved one using our custom templates and simple drag-and-drop editor. Simply select a theme & layout, add your details, and upload any photos you wish to use. All our printable tributes can be downloaded as print-ready PDFs for home, office or professional printing. Below is a more detailed step-by-step solution, or you can follow the interactive demo. 


To begin, create an account; it’s free to get started. 

### **Step One:** **Start a New Printable Tribute**

From the Tribute Home Page, select which of the available print tributes you would like to create first, click "**Start Creating**", and then "**Select Theme**".

Different themes have different layouts, fonts, backgrounds and photo arrangements. All of these can be changed inside the editor, but to begin select the theme that best captures their story. You can always change the theme later on via the left-hand side menu. 

### **Step Two: Add & Arrange your Content**

Click any text box to change the text or click on an image to open up the photo library. 
You can drag any elements up and down the page using the drag handles on the sides of the page. 

### **Step Three: Personalize your Design**

You can personalize your design with a range of easy to use features. In the purple edit bar at the top you will find options to add & remove pages, add additional text boxes or photo frames, change the background, add borders, spacers, icons or overlays to each page. There are detailed help guides available for each of these design features.

### **Step Four: Share, Complete and Download**

Click “**Share”** to email the preview to friends or family. This sends a version of your tribute as a digital booklet, you can see what this looks like via the preview button on the home page.  

When you are finished, and are ready to download, click the **"Complete"** in the top menu bar. 
The tributes will generate as two print-ready PDF files, one optimized for home and office printing and the other to send to a professional printer with bleed and margins.
