# Creating a Video Tribute: Getting Started Guide

With our custom templates and simple drag-and-drop editor, creating a meaningful video tribute with Eulogize is easy. Upload your photos, select a theme, and choose your music and background image. Then, you can download your video onto any device or add more creative elements, such as title slides or effects. Below is a more detailed step-by-step solution, or you can follow the interactive demo. 

To begin, create an account; it’s free to get started.

**Step One:** **Start a New Video Tribute**

From the Tribute Home Page, select the Memorial Tribute Video tile, click "**Start Creating**", and then "**Select Theme**".
Different themes have different transitions, backgrounds and animations. Select the theme that best captures their story.

### **Step Two: Upload & Arrange your Photos**

Use the left drawer to upload your photos. You can then choose to add them individually or select **"Add All Pictures to Slideshow"** to drop all your photos in at once. 

Drag and drop your photos to change the order. You can use the magnifying glass in the top right corner to see more or less photos per line. If you wish to remove a photo from your timeline, just click the x below the image. 

 

### **Step Three: Select your Music**

To select, change or upload music click on **"Music & Settings"**. 

Select from our library of music, or use your own by clicking on "Upload a Song". Eulogize's smart video maker will dynamically set each photo to be the same length to perfectly fit the length of the selected music. You can also use **“No Audio”** mode to create a silent video.

### **Step Four: Add a Title Slide**

Add title slides to the beginning and end of your video by clicking the "Title Slides" button. You will see that the Title Slide Editor has dynamically pulled through all of the case details. You can select a matching theme to your other tributes or go with something different.


### **Step Five: Change the Background**

Click on **"Background"** to select a different design or more personal image. You can upload your own photo to create something truly personalized. For a more subtle look, select the **Reflection** theme from the theme library, this will use a blurred reflection of each photo as its own background to create a professional looking video. 


### **Step Six: Preview, Share & Download**

When you are finished, click **"Preview"** to watch the video or click “**Share”** to email the preview to friends or family.  When you are ready to download, click the **"Complete"** in the top menu bar. 

The video will download in an MP4 file that will play on any device, screen or television. The length of time needed to generate a video will depend on how long the video is, but it is generally between 5-15 minutes. You will recieve an email when your video is ready for download.
