# Selecting, Changing, or Applying a Theme to All Memorials

### Getting Started

When you first start a tribute, you will open the theme selection window.
You can select from our library of pre-designed template themes organized into categories such as florals or hobbies.
You can select to then apply the theme to just the tribute you are working on or to all available tributes, creating a beautifully designed set of memorials.

## Select a theme for a specific tribute (example: Folded Funeral Program)

If you’re starting (or restyling) a **Folded Funeral Program**, you can pick a theme before you begin editing.


1. On your dashboard, find the **Folded Funeral Program** section.
2. Click the dropdown menu that says **Start Creating**.
3. Select **Select Theme**.
4. A theme gallery will open, sorted into categories like **New**, **Popular**, and **Floral**.
5. Scroll to find a theme you want. Click a theme to view a larger preview.
6. Hover over the theme and click **Apply to Program**.
7. When prompted, click **Confirm Theme Change** to apply the theme.

## Apply a theme to all your memorial products

If you want a consistent look across everything you’re creating (for example, funeral programs, thank-you cards, and a memorial tribute video), you can apply a single theme to all created memorials.


1. From a specific item (for example, **Memorial Tribute Video**), click the dropdown menu next to **Start Creating** and select **Select Theme**.
2. On the **Select Theme** page, browse themes by category (for example **Floral**, **Modern Minimal**, or **Activities & Hobbies**).
3. Hover over the theme you want.
4. Click **Apply to all**.
5. Review the confirmation window (it will list the items that will be updated), then click **Confirm Theme Change**.
6. Look for the **Theme changed** notification to confirm the update was applied.

### Changing a Theme

To change the theme after you’ve started editing, click **View Themes** from the left-hand side drawer. This will re-open the theme selection drawer.

### What is a Printable Tribute Theme?

Themes are pre-designed templates that allow you to quickly and easily start creating a beautiful tributes. For our printable tributes, themes are made up of layouts, background images, fonts, photo frames and other graphic devices, all of which can be changed, personalized or removed inside the editor.
