# Set Custom Times for Photos or Total Video Length

It is possible to set either a total video max length or control the individual duration of each photo.

**Set total video length:**
To set the total video length, open the music and settings window via the purple edit bar at the top of the video editor.

When you turn on **“No Audio Mode”** you can set a custom length duration for your video.
From the same screen, you can also set a display time for all photos.

**Set individual photo duration time:**

To change the length of time of an individual photo in your slideshow, click the gear icon below the photo in the timeline.

This will then bring up the advanced photo control window.
Here you can change the transition in & out, the animation applied, the transition duration and the total slide length. The smart editor will adjust all the other photos so that your slide show still matches the length of your selected music.
